The Sesame Place Birthday Party package is priced for up to 25 guests. Additional guests (up to 10) can be added for an additional cost per guest.

Sesame Place Birthday Party Packages are not available every day. All available dates are shown on the Birthday Party Package calendar when booking your party.

The Sesame Place Birthday Party Package is designed for guests of all ages. However, restrictions for attractions in the park may apply based on height and safety requirements.

Yes, you can choose the furry friend you would like to attend your party. Options include: Elmo or Cookie Monster. Once your Birthday Party is booked, please email [email protected] with your character choice. If a character choice is not provided 2 weeks in advance of your birthday party date, a character will be chosen for you, based on availability.

Sesame Place Birthday Party Package (maximum 25 guests)
Celebrate your birthday with your friends and family.  This package includes:

• A Sesame Place party host

• Private decorated party space in the new Sesame Place Party Room* for one hour

• Sesame Street-themed party hats

• Meal which includes cheese pizza and Coca Cola beverages, including Dasani Water for each guest***

• One cupcake for each guest***

• Party plates, napkins & utensils

• Meet & Greet with choice of one (1) furry friend**: Options: Elmo or Cookie Monster (character will be in the Party Room for 30 mins)

• "Happy Birthday" song led by a furry friend

• Cornhole, Jumbo 4 in a row, Building Blocks

• Photographer and an All Day Photo Key with access to all your photos.****

• 1 Sesame Street-themed coloring book for each child

• Park admission tickets are required but not included in the purchase of a Birthday Party Package. Park admission tickets must be purchased separately. Valid 2024 or 2025 Sesame Place Philadelphia Season Passes can be used for admission to the park.

****Photo key will be available for pick up at Rentals & Reservations when you arrive to the park.

Sesame Place remains open in most weather conditions. However, if extreme weather affects the park’s operation, we will work with you to reschedule your party.

The party room is decorated so additional decorations are not needed. If you would like to bring additional decorations, Sesame Place must approve all decorations for safety and park regulation reasons. Balloons are not permitted. Please discuss with your party host before the day of your party by contacting [email protected].

Each child will receive 1 Sesame Street-themed coloring book. Any additional party favors will need to be pre-approved by your party host before the day of your party. Please contact [email protected] for assistance.

You are permitted to bring your own cake to the Sesame Place Party room. The cake must be nut-free.

Your guest can bring gifts, however, they will be subject to our security procedures. Please note that the park is not able to store any gifts or other items from the party. We can provide assistance with taking items to your car.

We recommend booking as early as possible to ensure your preferred date is available, ideally at least 14 days in advance.

Admission tickets are not included and need to be purchased separately to book a Sesame Place Birthday Party. Valid 2024 Sesame Place Season Passes can be used for admission to the park.

Yes, cheese pizza and beverages (non-alcoholic) are included in the Sesame Place Birthday Party Package. Outside food and beverages are not permitted. Food allergies and special dietary needs should be discussed with a party host before the date of the party. Please contact [email protected] for assistance.

Your reservation is for a prescheduled time. If you arrive late, we are not able to extend the time of your party. We do not offer refunds for parties that are cut short due to being late.
