Park Reservations FAQs
Why do guests need a reservation to visit the park?
In order to manage capacity, maintain physical distancing and to help ensure a safe and fun experience at the park, all guests are required to make a reservation prior to visiting.
How does the reservation process work?
To make a reservation, you must have a ticket or Season Pass.
If you do not already have a ticket or Season Pass, you must purchase one before making a reservation. You will be prompted to make a reservation during the process of purchasing a ticket or Season Pass.
- Guests can purchase and make a reservation for same-day tickets if there is inventory available
- Single-day tickets are date specific, so your reservation to visit is included automatically when you choose the date of your ticket
- Guests can make a reservation on the same day of a planned visit if there is inventory available
If you have an existing ticket or Season Pass, you must make a reservation prior to visiting the park. We have reserved daily capacity for our valued Pass Members. Guests can make a reservation on the same day of a planned visit if there is inventory available. To make a reservation if you have an existing ticket or Season Pass:
- 1. Click here or go to the site homepage and click the "Reserve Now" button
- 2. Identify yourself as either a ticket, or Season Pass holder
- 3. Select the date you would like to visit
- 4. Enter your ticket, or Season Pass barcode number and email address to confirm your reservation
Once you receive your reservation confirmation via email, you must bring that confirmation along with your single-day ticket or Season Pass to enter the park.
I purchased a date-specific ticket or I reserved a visit date with my Pass, or non-date-specific existing ticket but I need to change it. What do I do?
To reschedule your reservation date, click here. You will need the email address used for your reservation, and your order number.
Do I need reservations for anything else other than my ticket or Season Pass?
Guests purchasing premium experiences (dining) will need to make a reservation for the date of their premium experience in addition to the reservation required to enter the park.

My ticket is showing up as not found/expired when I register, what do I do?
Please call us at 215-702-ELMO in advance of your visit. Guests without reservations cannot be guaranteed entry into the park due to limited capacity.
The system is not letting me make a reservation or finalize my transaction. What can I do?
If you are unable to make a reservation on your first attempt, we recommend trying these options:
- Empty your cart by clicking “remove” on each item (your cart must be empty to proceed) and try again
- Attempt to make the reservation in an incognito or private browsing window
- Attempt to make the reservation on a different device (switch from phone to desktop, or vice versa)
I am a Season Pass Member and I want to use my discounted/complimentary guest tickets, do those need reservations?
Yes, all ticketed guests need reservations. Once your guest ticket has been retrieved online from the Pass Member Dashboard, a reservation must be made for the date of visit using the barcode on the ticket. For tickets being redeemed on a kiosk, the guest must accompany a Pass Member with an active reservation for admittance and entry is subject to availability.
Does each person have to reserve individually, or can my entire party reserve at the same time?
Everyone in your party requires a reservation. Children under 2 do not require a reservation or ticket for entry. Guests can make a reservation for up to 6 people at a time. If your group is over 6 guests, you must go in and make two separate reservations for the same day.
Do I need a reservation for anyone younger than 2?
Children under 2 do not require a reservation, or an admission ticket for entry. Only ticketed guests ages 2 and older require a reservation.
What kind of ticket holders are required to make reservations?
- Single-day tickets
- Multi-day tickets
- Group tickets
- Free tickets
- Tickets purchased through a third party including AAA, Groupon, or other resellers
- Season Passes
- Teacher Pass
Can I make a reservation on the same day as my planned visit?
Yes, you can make a reservation on the same day of your planned visit if there is inventory availability.

I currently have a valid single-day ticket, two-day ticket, group ticket, free ticket, Season Pass, Teacher Pass or Vacation Pass in my possession and I want to reserve my day. What do I do?
Please click here or go to “Reserve Now” on the homepage. Then find your ticket category, select the number of guests in your party, and choose your date of visit to create your reservation.
I currently have a valid multi-day ticket, do I need to make a reservation for each day I plan to visit?
Yes, reservations will need to be made for each day and each park a guest plans to visit. This can be done on that individual park’s website using the barcode on your multi-day ticket.
I am going to buy a single-day ticket. How do I reserve my day?
When you select the quantity of tickets you want to purchase, you will be prompted to select your date of visit. Once your transaction is complete, your single-day ticket will be date-specific.
I am going to buy a Season Pass. Do I need to reserve my visit date?
Yes, once you purchase your Season Pass and your transaction is complete, you will be prompted to return to the reservation system to reserve your visit date.
I want to purchase a multi-day ticket. What do I need to do to reserve my day?
Reservations are required for multi-day tickets. You must make reservations for each day separately.
I currently have a complimentary Teacher Pass, how do I make a reservation?
Teacher Pass holders will make reservations under the Pass category on the reservation page.
I want to use a Waves of Honor free/discounted military ticket, are reservations required?
Yes, all ticketed guests need reservations. Once a ticket has been printed, a reservation must be made for the day you wish to visit.
I bought my ticket from a travel agent/ticket reseller. Can I make reservations using this system?
Yes. If you have a voucher, you can make a reservation through the reservation system.
I purchased tickets as part of an official vacation package. Do I need to make reservations?
Yes, we will want to know what day you intend to visit each park. Please use the barcode number on the ticket and reservation website for the park you wish to reserve for each day you intend to visit.
What percentage of the park’s daily capacity will be reservation-based?
100%. All guests will need to have a reservation or dated admission product to visit a park.
What happens if I show up at the park without a reservation?
We strongly discourage guests from visiting the park unless they have a reservation. Guests without reservations will only be permitted to enter if capacity is available, and admission is not guaranteed.
Is there an extra charge for using the reservation system?
There is no charge for using the reservation system. The reservation system is a tool we have introduced to help manage capacity so that guests can enjoy a safe and fun experience while maintaining physical distancing.
Can reservations be transferred from one guest to another?
No. Reservations can be cancelled or rebooked up to 24 hours before the original reservation date, but they cannot be transferred to other guests who are not included on the original reservation.
What happens if I do not show up for my reservation?
Single-day and multi-day tickets are non-refundable, but reservations can be rescheduled prior to the original visitation date. Pass Members who know they will be unable to use their reservation are asked to reschedule or cancel their visit as early as possible. This allows us to make space available to other guests.
If a day is completely booked, will there be a waitlist?
There is not a waitlist. However, guests should continue to check the reservation site as inventory may change.
I have a Dine with Elmo & Friends reservation. Do I still need a reservation for park entry?
Yes, all guests need a reservation for entry to the park.
I am a Season Pass Member and want to visit another park at a discounted rate. How do I get a reservation and a ticket?
Once a guest’s ticket is purchased online on the Pass Member Dashboard, visit the reservation page for that park to complete the reservation process.
I am a Season Pass Member and the day I would like to visit is filled up. Will additional inventory be added?
Inventory will be closely monitored and adjusted based on demand and available capacity. We invite guests to check back frequently, as inventory will be adjusted daily.
What do I need to bring with me to enter the park?
Guests visiting will need to bring their original ticket/Season Pass, their reservation confirmation, and an appropriate face covering.
Water Attraction Reservations FAQs
Why do I need to reserve access to water attractions?
Based on guest feedback, to help alleviate wait times and further promote physical distancing, we're creating a brand new system where your family can reserve either a morning (10:00 AM - 2:00 PM) or afternoon (2:30 PM - 6:30 PM) water attraction access session while making a reservation online. The following water attractions require a reservation for access: Sky Splash, Teeny Tiny Tidal Wave, Big Bird’s Rambling River and The Count’s Splash Castle. Ernie’s Water Works does not require a reservation but access will be limited to manage capacity.
Who needs to reserve access to water attractions?
All Season Pass Members and ticket holders age 2 and older require a reservation to visit the park. This reservation will now include a choice between a morning and an afternoon water attraction access session.
Guests with cabana reservations will have access to water attractions during both sessions.
Do I need to reserve water attraction access for anyone younger than 2?
Children 23 months and younger are free, do not require a reservation or ticket for entry and are not required to reserve a water attraction access session.
What are the times of the water attraction access sessions?
All guests will be asked to choose between a morning session (10:00 AM-2:00 PM) or an afternoon session (2:30 PM-6:30 PM).
I made my reservation to visit the park before July 29th; do I still need to make a new reservation and choose a water attraction access session?
Guests with existing reservations made before July 29th, after entering through the turnstile, will be directed to a tent in the plaza to pick up a color-coded wristband that will allow you access to water attractions during your session.
All guests making reservations on or after July 30th will choose a water attraction access session during the online reservation process. Upon entering the park, they will be directed by a team member to an area where they will receive a wristband for their selected session.
Where do I pick up my water attraction access wristband?
Guests with existing reservations made before July 29th, after entering through the turnstile, will be directed to an area to pick up a color-coded wristband that will allow you access to water attractions during your session.
Guests making reservations on or after July 30th will, upon entering the park, be directed by a team member to an area where they will receive a wristband for their selected session.
Can I reserve both the morning and afternoon water attraction access session?
Due to limited capacity and ensuring all our guests have time in our water attractions, guests will only be allowed to reserve either the morning session or the afternoon session but not both.
If I have rented a cabana, do I need to choose a water attraction access session?
No, guests who reserved a cabana will have access to water attractions during both the morning and the afternoon sessions. For more information on renting a cabana, click here.
During my reserved water attraction access session, can I leave the water attractions and access dry rides, shows, character photo opportunities and meet & greets?
Guests are free to access all areas of the park during their visit but can only access the water attractions during their reserved water attraction access session. The following water attractions require a reservation for access: Sky Splash, Teeny Tiny Tidal Wave, Big Bird’s Rambling River and The Count’s Splash Castle. Ernie’s Water Works does not require a reservation but access will be limited to manage capacity.
What happens at the end of my morning water attraction access session?
At the end of the morning water attraction session, guests with morning wristbands will be asked to exit water attractions and the surrounding areas so that team members can prepare for the afternoon session.
Guests with morning water attraction access are welcome to continue enjoying all other attractions, shows and character meet & greets in the park once their water attraction access time ends.
What happens if I miss my water attractions reservation?
Rebooking your water attraction access session during your visit will be available on a first come, first served basis. Please see a team member distributing water attraction access wristbands to check availability.
