Calling all Sesame Place Philadelphia Season Pass Members! Sesame Place Philadelphia officially opens for the 2026 season on Saturday, March 14, and we have tons of furry fun in store for you. Plus, March brings with it three exciting Season Pass Member Monthly Rewards!

Highlights:

• The park opens March 14 with the St. Patrick's Day Celebration. Plus, don't miss our special Opening Day Parade!

• Furry Friends Weekend returns on March 21 & 22, followed by Elmo's Eggstravaganza and the park's Passover Event!

NEW: Opening Day Fun at Sesame Place Philadelphia

Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Cookie Monster, and their Sesame Street friends will make their grand entrance down the parade route in the new Opening Day Parade to officially kick off the season! Don't miss this special performance, full of music, color, and even a glimpse of the furry fun in store for 2026! The Opening Day Parade will appear exclusively on March 14 at 10:30 am – so arrive early to get a great spot along the Parade Route!

Celebrate St. Patrick's Day Festivities!

Dress in green and shamROCK 'n' roll at Sesame Place on March 14 & 15 for our St. Patrick's Day Celebration! Don't miss our favorite festivities, including the Furry Friends St. Patrick's Day Dance Party, Irish Dancing Shows from the Rince Ri School of Irish Dance, Grover's Clover Scavenger Hunt, the St. Patrick's Day Dine with Elmo & Friends, and one-of-a-kind photos with your favorite furry friends in their festive St. Patrick's Day wear.

Furry Friends Weekend Is Back!

Furry Friends Weekend is back for a springtime appearance! The celebration features the Character Meet & Greet Extravaganza, where guests can meet their favorite furry friends, including beloved and nostalgic friends like Barkley.

The Sesame Street Neighborhood will be full of extra color and character with performances of “Our Street is Sesame Street” and pop-up appearances from Hoots the Owl, the Cluckettes, and more furry friends. For an extra-special treat, you can celebrate Big Bird’s birthday at Big Bird’s Pajama Party Dine, featuring a delicious brunch buffet.

Egg-citing Fun at Elmo's Eggstravaganza!

Join us during Spring Break for Elmo's Eggstravaganza Easter Celebration! A hopping good time is in store from March 28 through April 6, including the all-new Easter Egg Hunt & Basket Decorating with Cookie Monster! Snap a photo with Cookie Monster, decorate your very own Easter basket, and finish with a fun-filled egg hunt at Abby's Backyard BBQ!
