When is the park open?
Will the park stay open year-round? 

Sesame Place San Diego is open on select dates throughout the year. Please check our calendar for operating days and hours.  

How much is parking?

• General Parking (Car): Starting at $30
• Up-Close Parking (Car): Starting at $35
• General Parking (RV, Campers, Bus): Starting at $30 (must be purchase at the park)
• General Parking (Motorcycle): Starting at $30 (must be purchased a the park)


Save time and purchase parking today online. Paid parking is required. If you are visiting multiple days, parking is required for each visit. Parking is non-refundable. Rebooking requires at least 24 hours advance notice.

How much is parking for Season Pass Member?

• Silver Season Pass Members: Free General Parking
• Gold Season Pass Members: Free Up-Close Parking (when available)
• Platinum Season Pass Members: Free Up-Close Parking (when available)


Photo ID and valid Season Pass will be required at the parking lot booths in order to receive the free parking benefit.

Where is accessible parking?

Accessible Parking (Car/Van): $30


Accessible parking spaces are available directly in front of the main entrance for guests with a valid parking permit for disability parking. Vehicles should display an accessible parking permit to the tollbooth employee. Most spaces for guests with disabilities are accessible to vans. Spaces are limited and often sell out, so we recommend you arrive early. A wheelchair or an electric wheelchair can be arranged to be brought to your vehicle based upon availability by notifying a parking attendant upon your arrival.

There are several hotels within a few miles of the park, however, we currently do not have “official” partner hotels.

Sesame Place is only able to assist organizations within a 25-mile radius of the park. Our focus areas are children and families, education, conservation and the environment. Currently, we do not contribute to third party events, events for employees, volunteers, or recreational groups.
