A Very Furry Christmas is a festive, family-friendly event at Sesame Place San Diego. The park is transformed into a one-of-a-kind Christmas wonderland filled with holiday magic. Guests can enjoy Sesame Street-themed dry rides, Christmas shows, dance parties, cavalcade, meet-and-greets with Cookie Claus, games, scavenger hunts, special merchandise, and unique photos with everyone dressed up in their Holiday best.
A Very Furry Christmas starts on Saturday, November 9th and runs through Sunday, January 5th. The event takes place on Saturdays and Sundays plus select dates in November and December. Click here for the operating calendar.
No. You do not need reservations to enter. You need an admission ticket or season pass to enter the park, but you do not need to make any type of additional reservations for this event.
Yes! Admission to A Very Furry Christmas is included with a 2024 and a 2025 Sesame Place Season passes.

Elmo's Christmas Wish Show will be playing in the Sesame Street Theater. No reservations are required, but we advise arriving at least 10 minutes before the show begins to find seating. You can also dance, sing, and jingle bell rock along to your favorite holiday tunes with Elmo and his favorite furry friends at the Furry Friends Christmas Dance Party which takes place on the Wave Pool lawn.
