Sesame Place Cares

Sesame Place Cares is a collection of programs and initiatives in our park, in our communities and around the world that symbolize our commitment to conservation, education and community service.

Sesame Place gives back to the community in many ways. Sesame Place has acted as a collection area for donations to a number of organizations, including United Way. The park also has special relationships with a number of children's organizations in the area including American Red Cross, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Cradles to Crayons, St. Mary Medical Center Pediatric Emergency Unit, and Variety - The Children's Charity.

Sesame Place’s “Happy Tails” is an animal adoption program that provides pet lovers two free single-day admission tickets to Sesame Place when they adopt a dog or cat from a participating animal shelter. The program is our way of saying “thank you” for helping animals in need.

The “Happy Tails” program was launched across our family of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment parks in 2010. So far, more than 30,000 dogs and cats have been placed in loving homes through the program.

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment has long supported local animal shelters by providing homes, and a second chance at life, for hundreds of abandoned and neglected animals. Considered by many as un-trainable, these adopted animals now steal the stage and guest’s hearts as stars in the SeaWorld Parks’ popular shows “Pets Ahoy” in Orlando and “Pets Rule” in San Diego.

Bucks County SPCA

*Tickets are valid for single-day admission to Sesame Place during park operating hours within one year of purchase. Tickets are printed onsite at participating shelters.

Sesame Place Cares is holding a collection (11/21/15 – 12/31/15) for Cradles to Crayons, a charity that provides children from birth to age 12, living in low- income and homeless situations, with the essential items they need to thrive - at home, at school and at play.

Gently-loved winter coats are being collected for children ages 0-12 and can be dropped off at the Welcome Center during park operating hours.
