What are your ticket prices?

Admission to Sesame Place for everyone 2 years and older is $63.00. Sesame Place offers the following ticket promotions throughout the season:

If I purchase an Any Day Ticket with a free 2nd visit, can I give the 2nd visit to someone else?

No. The ticket is non-transferable. Both visits must be used by the same person.

Is there a separate price for children?

Children 23 months and younger are free. Children 24 months and older must purchase an admission ticket.

Do you offer Season Passes?

Yes, Season Passes may be purchased to enjoy unlimited admission all season and several pass types are available. Each individual 24 months and older requires their own Season Pass or admission ticket. Children 23 months and younger are free. Learn More

Do I need to purchase a ticket if I am not going on any rides?

Yes. Paid park admission is required for everyone 24 months and older.

Do you offer a Military Discount?

We are proud to salute the men and women of our armed forces and their families.

Our Waves of Honor program permits any U.S. active duty military, activated or drilling reservist, or National Guardsman to one complimentary admission per year to either SeaWorld®, Busch Gardens®, Adventure Island®, Water Country USA®, or Sesame Place® or Aquatica SeaWorld's Waterpark™ in San Diego for military personnel and as many as three direct dependents. Do you offer discounts on tickets?

The best discounts are available online at sesameplace.com.

Do you offer a Senior Citizen Discount?

Yes. Guests 55 years or older can save 30% on single-day admission when making a ticket purchase at our front gate. This discount is not available online.

May I apply a 2014 admission ticket towards the purchase of an Any Day ticket or Season Pass?

Yes, you may present your 2014 admission ticket or proof of purchase at any ticket window and apply this towards the purchase of a 2014 2nd day ticket or towards the purchase of a 2015 Season Pass in park only through 12/31/14. 2014 Season Passes may not be upgraded or applied towards the purchase of a 2015 Season Pass.

How much is bus parking?

Bus Parking is available in the General Parking Lot only for $25. For the safety of our guests, the only approved drop-off area is in the General Parking Lot near the exit gate.  Buses are not permitted in the Preferred Parking Lot.

Disabled Parking

Disabled parking is available next to the Sesame Place entrance for $17. Spaces are limited and often do sell out on busier days so it is recommended to arrive early. In the event that the lot is full, guests will be directed to park in our Preferred Lot for the $17 rate. Please inform our parking attendant if special arrangements are needed and we will be happy to accommodate. A wheelchair or ECV can be arranged to be brought to your vehicle based upon availability.

What is the Sunny Day Guarantee?

If it rains continuously for one hour while a guest is in the park, Sesame Place will issue Sunny Day tickets. Guests who leave the park during the time it rains may exchange their admission ticket at Guest Relations for a Sunny Day ticket to return at a future date. Guests will receive one Sunny Day ticket for every paid admission ticket turned in. If the continuous rain only occurs from 3pm on, an After 3pm Sunny Day ticket will be offered. Tickets must be exchanged on the day of visit. Guests who leave without exchanging their tickets will forfeit their Sunny Day tickets. Not valid on chaperone and complimentary tickets.

What should I wear to Sesame Place?

We recommend that guests bring swimsuits to enjoy all of the dry and wet attractions at the park. Proper swimwear is required on all wet attractions. Swim diapers are required for diaper-wearing children. Water shoes are recommended.

Guests may bring their own life vests for use only on attractions where life vests are permitted. All life vests must be US Coastguard Approved Type II or Type III.

Swimsuits, water shoes and swim diapers are available for purchase inside the park.

Can I bring a cooler?

Soft-sided coolers 10"x10"x12" or smaller are permitted in park for storage of baby formula, baby food and medically necessary items.

Can I bring a picnic lunch?

Outside food is not permitted in the park with the exception of baby formula, baby food and medically necessary items. Picnic areas are available outside the park.

Do you have accommodations for infants and mothers?

There are diaper changing areas located in all park restrooms. Baby bottle warmers are available in the Welcome Center and Lost Parents. There is also a nursing station adjacent to Abby’s Surf Shop.

Do you have ATMs in the park?

ATMs are located at Finders Keepers Gift Shop, Cookie’s Café, Sesame Playhouse, and Trader Bert’s Treasures.

Can I bring my own stroller to the park?

Yes. Strollers are also available for rent for $18.

How do I rent a private cabana?

Cabanas can be rented online in advance or at the Welcome Center on the day of your visit, based on availability. Cabanas are 10’x10’ and are located near The Count’s Splash Castle and Big Bird's Rambling River. Each cabana rental includes private meet & greets with Sesame Street characters, comfortable furniture, ceiling fan, mini refrigerator, 12 bottled waters and six souvenir Sesame Place beach towels.

  • Maximum capacity for each cabana is six people
  • Rental fee does not include park admission
  • Location cannot be guaranteed and is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis

What is the Discovery Dollars® Cashless Wristband?

A cashless wristband allows you to make purchases all day in the park without carrying your wallet! It’s free, smart and convenient!

  • Visit the Welcome Center, Guest Relations or any Cabana location to set-up a spending account with your credit card
  • Sesame Place will give your family waterproof wristbands, which can be used to charge purchases throughout the park
  • Your account will automatically settle at the end of the day

Are there lockers available to rent?

Yes, lockers can be rented for the day for $13.  

Are wheelchairs available to rent?

Yes, wheelchairs are available to rent for $15. We recommend that you make advance reservations online.

Misplaced an item while visiting Sesame Place?

Please contact Lost and Found by calling (215) 752-7070.  When prompted please dial #2 for departments, then dial #8 for Security/Lost and Found, then dial #2 for Lost and Found. 

Leave a message with your information, date of visit, and report # if applicable, and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Do you have special accommodations for guests with food allergies and dietary restrictions?

What assistance is available for guests with disabilities?

Sesame Place is committed to being accessible to guests with disabilities and to providing a safe and enjoyable environment to all guests. We have two programs in place to assist guests with disabilities. Our Ride Accessibility Program matches the individual abilities of our guests to the requirements of each ride. We also have our Special Access Program to assist guests in enjoying attractions throughout the park as some queue lines are not accessible to mobility-impaired guests. What is a handheld infant?

A baby or toddler who is unable to take 3 unassisted steps to the ride or attraction independently and cannot maintain independent seated postural control. For water attractions, all riders must maintain independent postural control, as well as fit into a US Coast Guard Type II or III life vest.

Do you allow pets in the park?

Guide dogs/service animals are permitted in the park. All service animals must remain on a leash or harness and may not be left unattended. Service animal behavior is the responsibility of the owner. Service animals and their owners will be asked to exit the park if pet behavior becomes a threat to the safety of another guest or employee. Please reference the park pet policy.

What if I need to leave the park to get something out of my car? Can I get back into the park?

Yes. Prior to leaving the park, guests should have their hand stamped for re-entry. 

What if I misplace my Season Pass?

If you lose your Season Pass, visit any ticket window with a valid form of identification to pick up a new one.

Can I celebrate a birthday at Sesame Place?

Yes, guests can celebrate birthdays at Sesame Place by booking lunch or dinner with Elmo & Friends and adding a birthday cake package to dine reservations. Paid park admission is required. 

Are characters available for private events?

No. Sesame Street characters are not able to leave the park for private events.

Do you offer gift certificates?

To purchase gift certificates please call 1-866-GO-4-ELMO. Gift certificates are not available at the park or online at this time.

Security Procedures

Sesame Place does have security procedures in place that may result in slight delays while entering the park. The procedures include:

  • All bags, backpacks, and packages are subject to inspection prior to entering the park.
  • For the safety of our guests, the following items are not permitted in the park: weapons, glass bottles, cans, sharp objects, large hard or soft coolers, and any hazardous items or materials.
  • To expedite entry into the park, leave any unnecessary articles secured within your vehicle.
  • Sesame Place is not responsible for fire, theft, damage or loss of vehicle or articles left within vehicles.

How far is Sesame Place from Philadelphia?

Sesame Place is 30 minutes north of Philadelphia.

How far is Sesame Place from New York City?

Sesame Place is 90 minutes south of New York City.

How do I get to Sesame Place using public transportation?

Take New Jersey Transit to the Trenton Train Station and take a SEPTA bus or a cab to Sesame Place. Sesame Place is located 10 minutes west of Trenton.
